House of Sky and Breath is the second installment of the Crescent City series by author Sarah J. Maas. Bryce Quinlan and Hunt Athalar have saved the world, but what next? They want to slow down and enjoy their life together. However, the world has other ideas. Bryce, Hunt and their friends have to continue to navigate a difficult life with lots of enemies and challenges. Lots of hard decisions have to be made, and the fate of the world is falling on Bryce’s shoulders faster than she anticipated. I give this book four stars because I love this series, but nothing will beat Maas’s Throne of Glass for me. Bryce is a very admirable character due to her spunkiness and fierce personality, but Hunt was a little bit annoying at times. I love the character development in these books, and highly recommend them.
