How to Train Your Dragon is a good movie with a unique story. The story takes place on the island of Berk, plagued by dragons, the locals have to defend themselves and their livestock from the dragons. Hiccup, the Chieftain’s awkward son, manages to strike down a dragon and begins his journey to finding out the truth about dragons.
The premise is simple, but with the help of added depth and emotions, it is executed perfectly. The whole journey in the movie was fun to watch, there was no set goal or villain in this movie, which makes it easier for the viewers to focus more on the process and to enjoy the show. The twists and turns the movie takes happen quick and unexpectedly, which helps it to shock viewers. The animation and the music were very good and contributed to how emotional the story was. The world-building was done very well. The additional insights given to the viewers helped make the world feel more alive and real. Overall, the movie was really enjoyable. This one was more about the journey than the plot. I give this movie a 4.3 out of 5 and recommend it to anyone who has not watched it yet.
