Jurassic World is a good movie with a decent story. The movie starts off twenty-two years after the original Jurassic Park and introduces a new park full of visitors. Facing a decline in the park, the park’s team of researchers creates hybrid dinosaurs to draw in more visitors. However, this ends up proving disastrous to the park and its visitors. It was really fascinating to see how Jurassic Park could have functioned if it had not failed like its predecessors. The rides, environment, dinosaurs, and the whole world of the movie was amazing. Other aspects of the movie like the music and the CGI were also very good and matched with its predecessor movie series. The story, however, was disappointing and felt all over the place with annoying dialogues. The movie should have either focused on saving the main characters or saving the park, or could have carefully struck a balance between both, which it did not. The aspect of training the velociraptors was unique, and their relationship with humans was interesting to watch. The movie was also filled with intense moments, a norm for the entire series but was well done nonetheless. Overall, I would say it is a good installment to the series and helped provide a good starting point to the Jurassic World movies. I give it 3.8 out of 5.
