La La Land is a movie that showcases the hard realities of life and maintaining a strong, healthy relationship when dreams are so different. The movie’s soundtrack and musical elements provide the perfect setting that gives an Old Hollywood aesthetic. This movie remains my most favorite movie of all time simply because of the message that is developed that essentially, going after your dream is worth it. The romantic build up and the support that each of the main characters show each other, mimics how reality should be. I only have positive things to say about this movie and I definitely recommend this movie to a wide audience. People who enjoy watching romantic movies, musicals, or just feel-good movies in general should be more inclined to watch this movie. It’s a classic and the cast going hand-in-hand with the plot makes this a realistic, relatable movie that is applicable to people of all ages and from all different walks of life.
