Elle Woods is the stereotypical sorority girl, who has the perfect boyfriend, Warner, is the sorority president, and has all the best and most popular friends. But this perfect life is completely destroyed when Warner breaks up with her. Elle is in shock when Warner says he wants a “serious girl” and Elle sets out to be his “serious girl” that she is far from at the beginning of the movie. As Elle tries to become serious, she studies hard for the LSAT, which are tests to get into law school. After long and hard nights of studying when she could’ve been out partying, Elle gets into Harvard Law, along with Warner. When Elle gets to Harvard things are far from perfect between her and Warner and Elle is devastated until she learns that she can be her own serious person. What happens after this is history.
This has to be one of my favorite films. The storyline is so unique and the acting of Elle by Reese Witherspoon is impeccable. I am at a loss for words for how much I love this movie. I would recommend it to any teenager looking for some motivation to study, or any person looking for a good movie to laugh and relax to.
