Annabeth has been commanded by her mother to follow the mark and avenge her. In the third installment of the series we see our favorite demigod heroes go on an epic journey to Rome to answer their questions about the prophecy and face unspeakable horrors.
The Mark of Athena is a really good book. We finally see our demigod heroes meeting each other and it is really interesting to see how they worked as a team. The book showed moments where they did not work well together, this was really interesting and added more to the development of their teamwork. The whole story is mainly based on Annabeth and it is really interesting to see her perspective and how she thinks. Overall it was a good book with lots of funny and epic moments. The ending of this book was shocking and unexpected, I give this book a 4.6 out of five.
