Sophie Evans doesn’t need her life to be more difficult. She is already having a hard enough time, she can't figure out what's missing when it comes to her design portfolio and without that she can't get into her dream school, but a certain boy didn’t get the message. After the annoying first encounter, their relationship is much more sour than sweet, but it looks like she’ll be stuck seeing Andrew because his dad, a formerly famous chef, is running a mentoring program and her best friend’s dad, who runs a catering company, is part of the program. With her job at the florist and him with the caterers, they're bound to bump into each other a couple of times. It’s only one year that he'll be here, one year where she has to see his face but there are nine events they’ll run into each other. Will they make Sophie realize the way she looks at him has changed?
Maybe This Time is a genuinely cute book. I like Sophie and Andrew and it’s fun to see their stories progress. Their first meeting is hilarious, and it ties back into the end in such a cute romantic way. I liked seeing Sophie's POV. I don't know if everyone would like Sophie, but I did but I hope you will. I liked the realizations she came to throughout the book. This book isn’t world-changing or anything but it’s a fun read.
