Minions is a movie released in 2015. The movie starts with a bunch of little yellow creatures evolving in the ocean from the beginning of life, with the sole goal of finding the evilest villain to follow. They’ve been following all kinds, including dinosaurs and cavemen. However, they keep losing their leaders over stupid things, and eventually get tired and stay in an ice cave. But three minions, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, set out to find a new leader. They travel the human world in them in the 1900s and land upon a villain named Scarlet Overkill, who tasks them to steal the crown from the British Queen - or perish. Will the minions secure their new leader, or will they be lost for eternity?
I loved this movie! This was a great way to introduce how the minions first came to be. It was hilarious and also included some “history”, which it incorporated in a very creative way. There were amusing moments throughout the movie, and even in sad parts, like when Scarlet Overkill tried to explode Bob and Stuart. This, and the rest of the Minions series, is my all-time favorite movie series. Because of all this, I give this a five out of five.
