Everyone was excited and looking forward to the start of the film festival, which was the most anticipated event of the year. While preparing for the occasion, Geronimo was unaware that he was required to make a speech. His last-minute notes were lost in Trap's hands before the speech, forcing him to improvise and tell a true story. His speech was well-received by those in the crowd, and they all loudly cheered. He was there to watch the detective movies, and oh how he enjoyed being a detective, when Hercule Portrait, his dear buddy, suddenly appeared in front of him. When it came time to show a top-secret movie by Martin Scorsese, it vanished, and it was the only copy of the movie that was so top-secret. While everyone was preoccupied with viewing other types of movies, someone took the movie. It fell to Geronimo and Hercule to identify the rodent responsible for this heist. Will they be able to apprehend the burglar before they vanish into the white light?
My favorite part of the book was when, despite being a scaredy cat, Geronimo decided to see horror movies with Cruella. Geronimo supported his friends at a crucial time. The investigation Hercule and Geronimo conducted into who might have stolen the secret movie was one of the story's most compelling elements. They visited each of the three rodents who despise Martin Scorsese and questioned them extensively, but Trap ultimately provided the most important proof of the crime. The fundamental theme of this book is resolving a mystery and collaborating with a team to do it. I advise all readers who enjoy mysteries to read this book.
