In the third and final book of The Hunger Games series, Katniss is in her new home of district 13. After Katniss returned from the quarter quell Peeta was left to the capitol. Katniss misses him dearly and is mentally out of it. Katniss now also has the stress of leading the rebels in a rebellion and being their mockingjay. Katniss will need to show the people of Panem how much she cares for them and Panem’s future. Will Panem become better than ever, or crumble to pieces?
After reading the two previous Hunger Games books before this one, I was disappointed. It was a well written book, but didn’t have the excitement and drama of books one and two. I still somewhat enjoyed reading it because it continued to include all of my favorite characters.
