Monsters, Inc. is an amazing movie with a unique world. The movie introduces Monstropolis, a city powered by the screams of children in the human world. The screams are collected by the monsters working at Monsters, Inc. using closet doors to enter the children's rooms.
The whole world of Monsters, Inc. is amazing and very clever. The utilization of the common childhood fear of “monsters under your bed” adds to the movie’s charm. The story is great and keeps the attention of the viewer by packing it with emotion and comedy. The whole movie is carefully crafted and full of small details. My favorite thing about this movie was the world-building. The final battle is also very well done and one of my favorite parts of the movie. Overall, the movie was a good experience, so I give it a 4.3 out of 5 and recommend it to watched by animated movie lovers.
