Murder on the Orient Express is a classic detective novel. It features the famous Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, in one of his most famous cases. The story begins with Hercule Poirot boarding the Orient Express in Istanbul. On the train, he meets a group of passengers who become essential to the plot. On the second night, the train was stopped by snow. The next morning, Mr. Ratchett, an American businessman, is found dead in his compartment, stabbed multiple times. Poirot is asked to investigate the murder by his friend, who was a director of the train company. Poirot must solve the crime before the killer strikes again.

The novel gradually reveals clues, and it has a strong plot. This book keeps readers guessing until the final pages. I love this book because I am a fan of mystery novels. I also love how the novel ends with a reflection on justice and morality, questioning whether the passengers' actions were justified. While the pacing is a bit slow compared to modern thrillers, this novel remains one of the classics of the mystery genre. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys classic novels and mysteries because this novel is an amazing combination of the two.
