The Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell was an incredibly compelling story about the disappearance of Tallulah Murray. Jewell used multiple different perspectives of those that are close to Tallulah and dropped hints throughout the entirety of the book that introduced new ties leading to her disappearance. Each character, not only, had their own unique story and relationship with Tallulah, but also played a key role in her finding. Jewell also had the story split into different years. We saw the perspective of the year that she was found and the events leading up to that, along with the year that she disappeared and the events leading up to that as well. The tone that Jewell used throughout the book was very conversational which made it an easy read to get through. In my opinion, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading thrillers and young adults. I was gripped throughout the entirety of the book, but especially during the end. I enjoyed being able to understand each and every character, as they were very relatable, and loved piecing it together. I would rate it a 4!
