One Italian Summer is a beautiful book by Rebecca Serle. The book takes place in Italy (of course) and follows the journey of a woman named Katy who had lost her mother and decided to travel to the Amalfi Coast. During her travels, she feels her mother's spirit and begins to hang out with her mom. Throughout the book, Katy has a beautiful romance where she goes on luxurious dates across Italy.
This book is a beautiful mother-daughter story that restores your faith in humanity and makes you want to travel the world. I would recommend this book to people who love to travel or have always wanted to travel, as well as anyone whose mother is their best friend. I would rate this book a three out of five because it is an enjoyable summer read, however, it has a slow start in my opinion.
