Simon Kelleher, the creator of the gossip app, About That, is mysteriously killed while in detention. With a car crash outside, Simon suddenly starts to choke as everyone’s backs are turned to examine the accident. The others in detention are now suspects for his death. The suspects include Bronwyn Rojas, an overachiever, Addy Prentiss, the most popular girl in school, Nate Macauley, a criminal and Cooper Clay, an expert athlete. These 4 all have secrets to hide and motives to kill Simon. The four progressively grow closer, believing that Simon’s death was not their fault. After Nate gets arrested, there is little room for error. Bronwyn tracks down the driver in the car accident and finds out that the crash was deliberately planned. With this in mind, the investigation takes a sharp turn as the suspects struggle to grasp the truth.

I really enjoyed this book because of the mystery element. It kept me curious to see what would happen next as new clues were uncovered. This book was a whodunit/murder mystery type read and provoked feelings of curiosity. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mysteries and thriller stories.
