Parker Chipp, a Night Walker, wants to save his dad, who has been captured, but Parker soon finds out that things are much more complicated than they seem, so he has to enlist the help of his friends, Finn, Mia, Addie, and Jack to mount a rescue mission to save his dad, and stop the Takers from creating a drug that will allow them to live in other people’s bodies until the body wears out. The Takers will then move onto the next body, creating a mass murder chain. When Parker finally meets his dad for the first time in years, he learns truths that shake his world, and is given a mission that seems impossible.
I think that this book has lots of twists and things that the reader will not expect. I personally liked this book because of the character development and the problems that Parker has with himself throughout the story and how he must fix it. I also feel that this book teaches an important lesson, which is that you are stronger when you are with your friends and are fighting together. This book kept me on edge throughout the time I read it. Overall, Paranoia is a very well written book.
