Pride and Prejudice; a historical fiction by Jane Austen. The book is about the Bennet
family, specifically the Bennet sisters and their paths of romance. The struggle through finding
their desires within a strict class system and society. The reader follows Elizabeth Bennet and
her relationship with Mr. Darcy. Austen has a very captivating writing style. The way she
connects meaning within descriptions is beautiful and makes it an intriguing read. She
demonstrates a strong women who doesn’t settle for a rude man because he has money. Which
makes her a strong role model on how women shouldn’t settle, but should require growth within
a relationship.
