J.B., Trey, and Ramon, three students at Promise Academy, are the three main suspects in the murder of their principal. They want to clear their name, so they work together to prove their innocence and find the real murderer. This book is told from various perspectives, mainly the three main characters, but also some other characters. Throughout the book, you get different perspectives on life through the different characters.
I would recommend this book to people who would like to get a different perspective on life and how some people go through difficulties that might be unfathomable to other people. This book sort of acted as a window to a different perspective. I would also recommend this book to anyone who is interested in teen mystery and crime. In my opinion, this book is one of the best books I’ve read in the crime genre. It really resonated with me and was a great pick for a teen. It captures the teen lifestyle accurately and it constantly has new stuff pulling you in throughout the book. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in a great read.
