Seasons of Chaos is an enthralling maze full of twists and turns. Jack and Fleur, two inseparable lovebirds are faced with adversity separated from each other early on. The fierce fire burning in the hearts of both of them flourishes the drive to see each other again. The book can be described as a yin and yang, Winter against Summer, Spring against Autumn, two entities colliding with each other creating a universal balance. But this universal balance goes haywire when a young season by the name Doug aims to continue the legacy of his predecessor, Michael, and is corrupted by greed. Will his want for more lead to the ultimate chaos?
I strongly suggest this book to young teens looking for a mythological and fantasy thrill. What I like about Seasons of Chaos is the author’s perspective, with each chapter being in the view of a different character. This gives the book a completeness to it because you feel the emotions of each character, not just one. This story is also very easy to comprehend, and this is coming from someone who didn’t read the prequel, making it enjoyable for all.
