She Drives Me Crazy is teen novel following the relationship between basketball player Scottie Zajac and cheerleader Irene Abraham. It’s the start of the basketball season, and Scottie’s team is playing against their rival high school. When Scottie is assigned to guard her toxic ex-girlfriend Tally her focus starts to slip and they end up losing. Her mind is still far, faraway when she’s driving out of the parking lot, leading to a minor accident with her least favorite person - the popular and incredibly cold Irene, who seems to have an unfounded hatred of Scottie. However, their car situation leads to them carpooling to school together, and somehow, fake dating? Scottie wants to get back at her ex and get the cheerleaders to come to their games, and Irene needs money to fix her car. But this fake arrangement leads to some very real feelings as well as some unforeseen problems...

This book was pretty good, I thought it was pretty cute and the ending was satisfying. The depiction of high school felt inaccurate, and the dialogue didn't often didn’t flow very well. However, it was probably better than most teen romances I’ve read and the twist on the classic romance formula was welcome and made the book more enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone who likes teen dramas/romances and who is looking for something a little more diverse than other novels.
