In the graphic novel Smile, Raina finds out that she needs braces, and she is scared. She does not want braces, but her friend, who has braces, comforts her and tells her everything will be fine. Well, turns out everything was fine until that night at the Girls Scout meeting. Raina raced to the car, but fell and broke her two front teeth. I guess she will be needing braces after all. I personally really enjoyed reading this book. It was very funny and it had a lot of adventures (not like treasure hunts) and it had a lot of roller coasters in it. This book is a fast read and I suggest that people around the age of 10 and people who love reading comics read this book. I would give Smile a 5 star rating because this is one of my favorite books!! This book is also in first person. I think that you guys will really enjoy reading this book, if you like drama, fun, and a little bit of adventure.
