Honor Augustine is a perfect student and cares for her father who has PTSD. When she finds out that her family is getting into financial trouble and at risk of losing their greenhouse business, she is firm on saving them. She decides to grow marijuana to help her father and her family’s business.
This book is very thought provoking; it makes me wonder what lengths are people willing to go to in the name of saving their family? I really like the way that the author depicted PTSD in a seemingly realistic way. This book was hard for me to put down; it was very interesting. But, I don’t like how Honor has to be the breadwinner in her family, especially since she is doing illegal acts. I definitely like the cover of the book; it is creative and attention grabbing. I would recommend this book to those who want to feel a lot of emotions and ponder over a book. Overall, I rate this book a 4/5.
