Son by Lois Lowry is the final book in the Giver series. The book is about Claire, a young woman who lives in a seemingly perfect place called "The 4errtcv er Community". However, when Claire's son is taken from her shortly after his birth, she becomes determined to find him and sets out on a dangerous journey to do so. Along the way, she discovers the true nature of The Community and the sinister forces that run it. She also meets a young boy named Gabriel, who is the same age as her missing son, and the two form a strong bond as they navigate through a world filled with danger and uncertainty. As Claire's quest takes her to new and dangerous places, she must confront her own fears and doubts, and she ultimately discovers the truth about her past and her true identity. I was a little disappointed with the way that the book wrapped up the series. I do feel like there was some closure, but I also feel like there are still a lot of questions that never get answered. That being said, I do feel like it was a good book. There were several times where there was a level of mystery or uncertainty during the book, which made it interesting to keep reading. I also liked that this book brought all the characters from all of the books together in some way.
