When junior CIA agent Benjamin Ripley receives another unexpected assignment to take down SPYDER in the jungles of South America, he’s forced into another high-stakes mission. However, what starts as a chance to bring the villainous organization once and for all quickly spirals out of control into a struggle for survival. As the mission advances, Ben and his fellow agents have to think on their feet, run for their lives, and crack SPYDER’s secretive plan before it's too late. With the fate of the world at stake, will Ben and his team succeed, or allow life as they know it to come to its knees?
Spy School Goes South was an excellent read and is one of my favorites in the Spy School series. The action never stops, and the intense plot twists keep you on the edge of your seat. Ben continues to grow as a spy and has had an observable increase in his skills. Apart from the action, Benjamin is forced to question his closest relationships, adding more depth to the story. While some scenes feel a bit exaggerated, the fast-paced plot and fun writing style keep the book very entertaining, and it earns a 5 out of 5.
