Kara McKormick is going to be a star. She loves comedy which the whole world could
see on a reality tv show she was on. Now Kara is headed to Orlando with 10 other girls
to be a co-host on another tv show.
Chad Beacon already is a star. After winning America’s Next Star, he has a lot to lose
if he does the wrong thing. Chad is worried that if he becomes a co-host on a tv
show many will disapprove. How will Chad manage school, relationships, friends, and
being a star?
Kara and Chad’s lives could both change if they are on this show- for the better or
the worse. Through all the drama Kara starts to see God show up in her life and she is
slowly starting to believe him.
This book was really good. I appreciated the Christian elements and how it was
subtle. This book was unlike any other book I have read, however some parts
reminded me of the Selection Series. This book was a little bit predictable from the
start but the author demonstrated the characters very well and I could understand
how Kara and Chad felt about the other characters. Overall, a good read.
