In this captivating & classic novel, we meet Mr. Utterson, a simple and respected lawyer who becomes very drawn into the events surrounding an evil man called Mr. Hyde. Mr. Utterson is determined to find out more about Mr. Hyde and about the many secrets his friend Dr. Jekyll has been hiding. As he learns more though, he becomes more aware of the dark connection between Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

This book was quite interesting and made me think about the question of morality and the duality in humans. It was a quick read and pretty fast paced which was nice. I really liked the vivid imagery the author used when writing this novel because it really helped me become even more immersed in the world of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. After reading it, I realize why a lot of the concepts of the book are still relevant and talked about today. I thought that it was a very well-written book overall and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to read a classic full of mystery and thought-provoking narrative.
