Magnus’ only goal is to survive on the streets of Boston. But when his crazy uncle takes him to a bridge and tells him to summon a sword. Magnus just thinks he is being tricked. So he pretends to go along with the joke and focuses. Then a sword actually flies out of the river, the only problem is that it summons a fire giant that wants to destroy the world. Can Magnus save earth from destruction?
My opinion of this book was that it kind of had a shaky start to the story but then a few things happened and suddenly everything got a lot more interesting. Also, it was unusual to think about how many other people there are in the world using an exact estimate. Overall though, it was pretty funny and entertaining.
