Palms sweating and anxious, Chris Anderson walks on the stage of TEDx to discuss the future of TED Talks, and what he wants to accomplish as a whole. He never knew that his ambitious idea would take off and become popular worldwide. This book covers the key concepts of public speaking and offers tips and tricks for turning a tedious lecture into an impactful speech that will influence millions. Our worldview changes with each person, yet it takes many for that change to become reality.

I love how this book is so useful when giving speeches or even casual conversations. It is a very versatile book that you can apply to your everyday life. In addition, the main points are very easy to understand, and some examples are given for each of the speaking strategies. Learning about the TED Talk process is also fun as it shows how much work people have to put into their speech to have an impact (about a month for the revising process)! The most compelling part about the book is that as a speaker, Chris Anderson gives the reader his life story starting with him coming to TED.
