Naomi is forced to leave her life in the city after a family crisis and ends up in the small town of Knockemout. She soon meets the grumpy and mysterious Knox Morgan who has a reputation for being closed off and the town’s bad boy. Despite their differences, they end up bonding over past trauma and other things they never got over.
I think the length of Things We Never Got Over intimidated me. but don’t let it intimidate you. Once you are immersed in this world, time flies by fast. I love Knox with my whole heart. He had me feeling some sort of way when I was reading it. It almost made me cry. I also don’t usually love kids in books, but the kid in this book was so cute and lovely. Overall great book. Perfect for someone who loves contemporary romances. Rating: 4
