Thunderhead is the second book in the Scythe book series. This book specifically focuses on the Thunderhead, the big cloud-like technology that controls everything, and corruption within the Scythedom. Citra gleans using her compassionate methods and Rowan hunts down corrupt Scythes. Meanwhile, the Thunderhead is growing worried about the corruption, yet it can’t do anything about it due to its limitations. Many different power struggles emerge in the Scythedom leading to dangerous conspiracies and allainces that threaten the stability of the entire world.

Overall I give this book a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Even though this book is an amazing continuation of Scythe, I do feel that it’s story can be a little boring for around 50-100 pages in the middle of the book, when it feels like the story isn’t progressing. Still this book is an amazing addition to the Scythe series. I absolutely recommend this book as I love it. I personally like Rowan aka Scythe Lucifer as he is targeting the corrupt Scythes and is doing the best for the Scythedom. This book is amazing and the story flows nearly flawlessly. I would recommend this for everyone who read the first book and if you didn’t, read the first book and then read this.
