Genre- Romantic Thriller
Summary- Sloan is dating the most popular drug dealer on campus Asa. Sloan only is with Asa because of the money he is paying for her brother who struggles with many issues. Carter comes to campus undercover as a student who joins Asa’s group in order to try and bust it. But what will happen when Sloan and Carter start to fall for each other and will Asa know? Plot Progression- It starts off when Asa being very abusive towards Sloan and her wanting to leave but she can’t because she is trapped and she thinks she loves him. Then Carter comes along and she falls for him but she knows this is wrong so she tries to hide it. Carter knows he can’t fall for her because he is undercover and can’t let this get in the way of the job. This leads to lots of drama between them but Carter can’t not protect Sloan and wants to get her out from under Asa. Asa starts noticing things and realizes everyone underestimates him. Asa doesn’t give up on his love for Sloan for the whole story and tries to fight for her.
Opinion- I loved this book! Just when I thought everything was working out for Sloan another plot twist would happen. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and it was very fast paced and action filled. I couldn’t put it down and read it faster than any other book.
