Treasure Hunters: The Greatest Treasure Hunt is another thrilling installment in James Patterson's Treasure Hunters series. The novel follows the adventurous Kidd family—twins Beck and Bick, their older siblings Storm and Tommy, and their parents—as they traverse the globe, recovering lost treasures and donating them to museums. In this book, Beck and Bick become intrigued and envious of their rival treasure-stealing family, the Colliers, whose children have gained viral fame through their own television show and seemingly endless treasure-hunting adventures. The Kidd siblings soon discover that the Colliers are merely fabricating their videos. When Nathan Collier issues a challenge for a treasure hunt showdown between the two families, the Kidds eagerly accept the opportunity to prove their skills and show the Colliers what real treasure hunting looks like.
I feel like this book was a great addition to the Treasure Hunters book series, a breath of fresh air from some books in the series that had sadly felt quite boring before it with the familiar unsuspected twists and turns that comes with this series as the Kidds navigate infighting, setbacks, and rivals on their way to finding a treasure. This book was fast-paced, compelling, and has some especially great plot twists nobody would've expected. This book is a great read for people aged anywhere from 7 to even 13.
