The Twin by Natasha Preston is about two separated twins who recently lost their mother and were reunited to stay with their dad. The main character the reader follows is Ivy. We see her attempt to continue her normal life while living with her twin and the death of their mother. While living with her twin, Ivy notices some weird behavior.
I rate this book a 2 out of 5. The plot was very predictable and the book was boring for a thriller. The characters were underdeveloped for high schoolers and the dialogue was unrealistic. The story progressed very slowly and was frustrating. The book kind of got thrilling towards the end, but it took a while to get there. There is also a lot of unhealthy behavior represented in this story that is not discussed in the book. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
