Two Degrees by Alan Gratz follows three natural disaster stories of four teenage kids and how they handle the situations they’re in. Akira, who lives in California, encounters a wildfire, Owen and George, who live in Canada, encounter polar bear attacks, and Natalie, who lives in Florida, encounters a hurricane.
Basically, this book is like a more advanced reading level of an I Survived book! I really liked it! I also thought the book’s message about climate change was a really cool message to convey. I would give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars, but I’ round it up to 5 out of5 stars! :) I would recommend this book to anyone who likes I Survived books and anyone who is passionate about climate change. But even if you aren’t passionate about climate change, I would still recommend this book because I think you’ really like it!
