The Bridgerton saga continues with The Viscount Who Loved Me. Anthony Bridgerton, notorious rake and quite possibly the most eligible bachelor of any of the recent seasons, has finally decided to marry. In a manner fitting with his status, he decides he will marry the incomparable of the season. However, his previous behavior leads to a decided hatred from his future wife’s stubborn older sister Kate, who refuses to give her approval for the match. And this isn’t the only issue - Anthony seems to be falling for the meddlesome Kate instead of her sister!
Julia Quinn does it again! I enjoyed this book, even more than the first one. I thought it nicely avoided the things I disliked about The Duke and I while adding new characters and depth to the world. I would give it four out of five stars.
