Who Is Malala Yousafzai? tells the inspiring story of a brave girl from Pakistan who spoke up for girls’ right to go to school. It starts with her childhood in a small town where not all girls were allowed to get an education. Malala loved learning and believed that boys and girls should both be able to go to school. When she started talking about this in public, some people didn’t like it. In 2012, she was attacked and seriously hurt, but she survived. Instead of being scared, she became even stronger and kept fighting for education. The book also tells how Malala won the Nobel Peace Prize and continues to inspire people all over the world.
This is a great book for kids and young readers who want to learn about being brave, speaking up for what is right, and making a difference. Writing is easy to read and understand. It does a great job telling Malala’s story in a way that kids can relate to. The book mostly talks about her early life and how she fought for education. Even though it doesn’t cover her whole life, it is still very inspiring. It teaches kids that one person, even someone young, can help change the world. Four out of five stars.
