Brandon Sanderson’s book Words of Radiance is the second installment of the Stormlight Archives series. The book continues to follow Shallan and Kaladin as they progress through the Parshendi war and attempt to discover the secrets of the city of Urithiri and the Knights Radiant. This book, much like the first, drags on a lot throughout the book. However, the best parts of this one don’t quite stack up with Way of Kings. Despite that, the messages and story that follows the characters make for a very interesting read. The dynamic rivalry between Sadeas and Dalinar add in a layer of depth that is very intriguing. Overall I would rate it four stars due to the length of the book. Shortening some of the parts would be very beneficial for the book in my opinion.
