Abby signs up for a DNA service, not expecting anything surprising to come up in her results, but she was far from right and gets the biggest surprise of them all. She finds out that she has an older sister, Savannah (aka Savvy), who is 18 and Abby is only 16! These newfound sisters decide to pull a move straight out of the parent trap, and meet up at summer camp. Things get even more complicated when Abby’s best friend Leo, who Abby happens to have a crush on, shows up at camp, being the camp cook! The sisters need to find out what happened but they need to do it without ruining a fun summer at camp.
I would say this book is a light, summer beach read, definitely not one to read in the winter like I did. It was still a good book, and I plan on reading more books by Emma Lord in the future. I thought it was fun and it really reminded me of the parent trap, with modern elements. I would recommend in the summertime to fans of Emma Lord, or anyone who loves the nostalgic movie, the parent trap. Overall, I enjoyed this book, I just read it at the wrong time.
