Yoko Ogawa serves as a spider who has created intricate webs that tie these stories together, which she does flawlessly. While reading the book, I found it impossible to put it down. There were no unnecessary descriptions or dialogue; all stories got straight to the point. That is what kept me on my toes.

The course of her life changed… for the worse. After several near-death experiences, Jane starts to suspect that her bad luck is no coincidence.

The Weight of Blood by Tiffany Jackson is a teen fiction. The book is inspired by Carrie and the segregated proms happening in Georgia that came to large public light in 2014. It follows Maddy Washington and her classmates at Springville High and their roles on prom night. I really loved this book. The plot it follows and discusses I found to be really educational and entertaining.
