This historical fiction book written by Jennifer A. Nielsen is an engrossing and suspenseful novel with crazy plot twists and diverse characters. Chaya (the main character) is a resistance fighter against the Nazis. She teams up with a girl she despises at first and quickly learns to love her like a sister. They move from ghetto to ghetto, trying to help their people fight.
Origin, the fourth book in the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, is somehow better than the series’ previous novels. After a failed attempt to raid Mount Weather and make it out in one piece, Katy is stuck behind enemy lines, and Daemon will do anything to get her back, even join her. While held by Dedalus, Katy, Daemon, and friends will uncover new secrets that will change everything.
The moment I read the first chapter of Star Wars Lost Stars I knew it was going to be one of my favorite books. When you read the first chapter, not only do you get to know the two main character’s backstories but also how they came into their passion for flying ships. Ciena and Thane are two different people. One from the rich folk and another from the valleys. They were best friends for many years and even went to the same Imperial academy together. Throughout the book you start to see the characters change in either massive or short ways.
Mockingjay, by Suzanne Collins, is the final novel in The Hunger Games trilogy. After being rescued from the Quarter Quell, Katniss must adapt to life in District Thirteen while mourning the loss of Peeta. Katniss, forced to be the face of a revolution that she does not lead, suddenly finds herself in the middle of political chaos as the rebels of District Thirteen aim to overthrow the Capitol.
Reboot is truly an amazing story put together by the magical hands of Amy Tintera. There is nothing I love more than settling in on my couch and reading books for hours. A mix of drama, love, action, this book will certainly draw your eye. This book is rated 6th grade and above.
Steelheart is an amazing book written by Brandon Sanderson. There is no way to predict what is going to happen in this novel. It is action packed, funny, and a good overall book.
