Queen of Ice is a fiction mystery book. This book is an amazing read if you are interested in learning about other cultures. The information about the culture in the book is not direct but as you read you start to get an insight on other cultures, making the book informative. The overall storyline of the book is great and attention-getting since it’s very unpredictable. The mystery aspect of the book is tied in smoothly to the other themes making it so that the book isn’t exactly a thriller but not just fantasy fiction either.

Born a Crime is a comical and fun read. The book is not that difficult to understand and it is educational as well as an interesting read. The main reason that I didn’t love this book was because even though the story was always interesting I felt like some parts of the book were too repetitive. There were several parts of the book where I felt that Trevor should have described what he did to reach the point of life that he is at now, instead of continuously telling us the stories of his childhood.

Brave New World is a perfect read to place yourself in a dystopian world. The book forces you to think about society and how it has molded each person based on its ideals. Brave New World is primarily based around a class society that trains its population to act accordingly to it. The book follows Max Bernard and how he feels misplaced in this world as he yearns for a sense of individuality.

I always try to incorporate different genres of books but I usually almost always tend to be biased towards thrillers. Colleen Hoover is most renowned for writing romance books, but Verity was one of her first thrillers. Verity is a type of book that once you pick it up, it's quite difficult to put it down without finishing it all. Every single page of this book is so detailed and vivid, that you feel as if you live in the book.

This book is a heart-stopping physiological thriller. When the book starts off, you can already feel the high tensions and emotions that are present, and as the book continues the feelings climax alongside the story. The story is based on a missing girl whose story has never been solved. The reason that the story is so enthralling is due to the fact that each section of the book is from a different character's perspective, giving the book more depth and allowing you to take in all sides of the story.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is one of the best written books I have read to this day. Every single sentence of this book is so captivating, and there was not one time where I was not interested in the writing. From the writing style to the development of each character, everything about the book is spectacular. There are 7 sections to the book, each dedicated to one husband, given the name. I thought the book was structured extremely well and the twists are perfectly plotted throughout the storyline.

Home Before Dark is an exceptionally well-written psychological mystery book. While reading this book I felt several different emotions. At the beginning of the book it was somewhat of a slow read, showing you the daily life of the main character, but as the story accelerates the story gets more and more fascinating. There are so many different twists in the book and none of the aspects are too predictable making it an enjoyable read.
