King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard is fantasy fiction and the third book in the series. Mare Borrow

is stuck. After turning herself in, she’s powerless in a prison cell, at the hands of the boy she

Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard is fantasy fiction and the second book in the series. Mare

Borrow continues her search for others like her to join the Red Guard. She learns about her

powers, about her heart, and becomes something the Silver Court should fear. I didn’t enjoy this

book very much. There were a lot of unnecessary scenes and it was so dragged on. The

monologues were unnecessarily dramatic and the characters got on my nerves sometimes.
