Toy Story is one of my favorite Disney + Pixar movies because it was made before I was born and because I used to watch this non-stop when I was a baby. In this magical world toys are alive and can talk. The main characters are Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Woody is a cowboy who gets played with a lot by his owner, Andy, but when a new space toy comes out this makes Woody jealous that he is not getting played with anymore. Woody does something terrible to Buzz and then the journey begins from the beginning of the movie to the end.

Katie has always dreamed of finding the perfect boyfriend. But when she wakes up to find a six-foot boy in her bed, she is shocked and amazed and what had happened. She had accidentally created a boy named Guy. When she starts dating Guy, she wonders if he likes her for who she is, or because he was made to love her.

Citizens of Maycomb are racists and prejudiced. They judge each other by how they look, speak, or what gender they are. After Atticus Finch is asked to defend Tom Robinson, a colored man who is accused of raping a woman, his children learn true lessons, some being that people in Maycomb side with others over others. Essentially, this story depicts a young girl coming-of-age, who is raised into a society where people are not as innocent compared to others. It is up to her father to teach her real life lessons and behaviors.

To Night Owl From Dogfish is a family bonding and funny fiction by Holly Goldberg Sloan and Meg Wolitzer. This book is about Avery and Bett, whose dads want them to be friends because they are dating. The dads send them both to a camp, where they become closer but the dads become more distant. Avery (one of the two girls) sees her mom for the first time in 10 years. Their dads break up, but the girls stay close and trick their dads to enroll them in the same summer camp.

The Lovely and the Lost is a thrilling and adventurous mystery novel by Jennifer Lyne Barnes. This book is about a girl named Kira, her brother Jude, and her best friend Free. Kira is a victim of child abuse and is a forest survivor; she was found by her foster mother, Cady. When her foster grandfather comes to their house and says something about a missing child, her whole family and her friend Free go to Sierra Glades National Park.

The Unteachables is a hilarious and interesting fiction novel by Gordon Korman. This book is about a group of kids who are disliked by teachers and students. Their teacher doesn't care about teaching anymore, but that changes when the Unteachables jump in the river to save their teacher's life. Soon after, Mr. Kermit realizes how much he loves the kids and how much he loves teaching.

Amy Larsen traditionally spends her summers with her best friend Teddy and her cousin Ben in River Run, located in Kentucky. As tension brews between Teddy and Amy, they are suddenly met with a tragic situation. Teddy’s sister has suddenly disappeared, now all three must depend on each other to solve the case; and save Teddy’s sister.

The Selection is a dystopian romance novel about a sixteen-year-old girl named America. She lives in Illea, a country divided by castes. In Illea, the Selection is a contest in which girls are selected from different castes compete for the love of the prince, Maxon. America is one of the 35 girls selected to compete. But the only thing she desires is to have a relationship with her secret boyfriend, Aspen.

After witnessing the break-up of her parents, it’s hard for Evie Thomas to fall in love. Her belief is soon strengthened when she finds out she has an ability to see the beginning and the downfall of couples’ relationships. But after she meets X, a boy in her dance class, she wonders if love is worth the heartbreak. Does Evie beat the odds and form a strong relationship with X? Read more to find out!
