The storyline of November 9 follows Fallon, who is making a cross-country move to New York and Ben, an aspiring novelist. They have an attraction that leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in Los Angeles together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time, through the ins and outs of life they continue to meet on the same day (November 9th) every year, for 5 years. Until Fallon gets a feeling that Ben might be hiding something from her.

One of my all time favorite books! This book follows Macy and Elliot. After the death of Macy’s mother, she is struggling. That is when she meets Elliot. This book follows their growing friendship and love. Until they fall apart. But with a duel timeline, you are also able to read about their rekindling. You are able to see how they gain back what they lost. Their friendship is beautifully written and you get very connected to the characters. It did take me a little to get into the book, but once I got a couple chapters in, I could not put the book down!

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas is a whimsical romantic fantasy retelling of Beauty and the Beast with a dark twist. Feyre’s job is to hunt and provide for her impoverished family, but this job comes with its dangers. The forest bordering her cabin is the only thing separating her village from the land of the Faerie, which makes it exceedingly dangerous.

Midnight Sun is the first novel in the Twilight saga from Edward’s point of view. It is very interesting to see the story through Edward because he has so many conflicting thoughts about Bella and her well-being around him. I would suggest reading this book after you finish reading the entire Twilight saga because it will help patch up some holes left in the story after the last book. My favorite part of this story is Edward’s protectiveness towards Bella and she doesn’t even know it.

As you continue to read the story, you will notice a lot of ups and downs during America’s and Maxon relationship. They constantly fight and it’s almost as if nothing really happened in the second book because America decides to shut down. There wasn’t as much content in this book as the first one, but I will say it was pretty good. Again the author does a great job at writing it in the perspective of a girl who has a temper, you could really feel the anger inside of America when reading from her POV. And sometimes you just really want to punch Maxon in the face.

This book was really a crossover of The Bachelor and The Hunger Games. I loved reading it from America’s perspective and it’s funny how everyone else wants the crown or the prince but America doesn’t. I also love how Maxon has the ability to punish America for her manners and doings but he lets it go since every girl he’s ever met is polite and virtuous. Another thing that has caught my eye is that the first 3 books are about Maxon’s selection, and the covers are the same color of the American flag.
