The movie follows the life of a young boy named Alexander who frequently has really bad days, but when his family ignores his suffering, he makes a wish that they understand his experiences. The next day is Alexander’s birthday, which turns out to be the worst day of his family’s life. The movie details every part of the day from a fire mishap at a restaurant to a kangaroo on the loose.
