Slaughterhouse-5 is an incredibly well-written novel and one of my favorite works by Kurt Vonnegut. In his novel, he explores the meaning of life (and no, I’m not kidding), World War II, time travel, and more. Slaughterhouse-5 is brilliant and complex, but not hard to understand. Vonnegut introduces serious themes of war and violence and approaches them in his writing with a humorous tone.
Dune Messiah is the second book in the Dune series written by Frank Herbert. I am a big fan of the first Dune because of its huge sci-fi scope mixed in with politics and religion that can be seen in the world today as well. The dialogue was amazing too, and it felt like everything that the characters said could be interpreted in a deeper level. I love that book and I don’t think
Leviathan Wakes by James S. A. Corey is a thrilling and thought-provoking science fiction novel that takes place in a future where humanity has colonized much of the Solar System. The novel follows two main characters: Jim Holden, a former naval officer, and Miller, a detective on the asteroid belt. The novel revolves around a mysterious substance that could change the balance of power in the Solar System, the Protomolecle.

When his father, Duke Leto, accepts Arrakis, the most dangerous planet in the universe, from the rival Harkonnen family, Paul starts to transform into something unimaginable as he leads his people into a momentous war.
Artemis is a sci-fi novel by Andy Weir about a futuristic moon settlement of the same name. The reader follows Jasmine (jazz), a smuggler who’s lived in the city since she was six as she gets way in over her head in a complicated power struggle. On the moon, aluminum manufacturing is pretty important, as it provides the oxygen for the bubbles everyone lives in.
The Alloy of Law by acclaimed fantasy author Brandon Sanderson is the first book in a trilogy known as the second era of Mistborn. Mistborn was a trilogy of books written by Brandon Sanderson, and The Alloy of Law is set in that same world, only three hundred years into the future.

Jonas, when selected to be the new receiver of memory, has to hold the painful experiences that occurred in their past. Will Jonas be able to handle the pain and continue living in his community?
