This was a realistic fiction story based on a real event that really made you see what hardships people go through when they are left marooned with less than 10 other people. You meet a boy named Quill who, along with other boys and a few adults, gets on a boat to a remote stac (an island made of rocks and boulders) where they hunt birds to bring back home to the people back at their island home. He had already made this journey and was seen as a leader throughout the book. Sadly, the boys on the boat didn’t know that mysteriously nobody would come to take them home.

The storytelling in this book about Mrs. Zauner’s life is breathtakingly moving and engrossing. You meet Michelle Zauner who is a Korean American. She talks about the hardships she faced as an Asian American and about the struggles she went through with her relationship with her mother. You also read about the challenges she goes through while finding out what truly makes her happy and the challenges she has throughout her life. This book was very well written as you can feel Zauner’s emotions throughout the book and also through the food she writes about.

This poetic, engaging work of Shakespeare is probably one of the best loved plays out of all of Shakespeare’s plays. This is a play about many pairs of Lovers. You meet a few groups that play a big part in the story- the young lovers, workers coming together organizing a play, and fairies. I loved the poetic style of writing used and how you got to know the characters. It really makes you feel the love shared between the people though you also experience the deceiving acts of jealous, desperate people. I thought it was well written and presented a beautiful view of classic love.

This is a review about “Steve Jobs,” a biography about the late Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. And before I go on, I would like to point out that I’m currently typing this on a MacBook, and I will soon be waiting for the mail that this review has been confirmed on my iPhone, and then I’ll be listening to music on my Air Pods while my brother is playing games with our iPad.

“There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” Hundreds of years after William Shakespeare’s death, and audiences are still entranced by his plays. Hamlet is no exception, as it is regarded as one of the greatest plays of all time. The book is about how the young Prince of Denmark (Hamlet) reacts when he discovers the life-changing news that, not only is the King (Hamlet’s father) dead, but his mother has married the Claudius, the King’s brother, and Claudius is now king.
