merged into one, has been dubbed the Hating Game. It’s just another pretty normal workday for

Lucy (begins with staring hatefully at Joshua and ends the same way), when for some reason

he kisses her in the elevator. This, combined with a new promotion opportunity, an agreement

Belly has been dating Jeremiah, the brother of her first love Conrad, for a while now

and after she finds out some of his secrets she is ready to end this relationship. But

then, Jeremiah proposes to her. Belly is very surprised at this big step in their

relationship, especially because she just finished her freshman year of college and is

still 18. Belly’s mom doesn’t approve of her getting married so young and Conrad

might still have feelings for Belly. Belly wants to follow her heart, but where is her

heart leading her?

This summer is different for Belly and the Fisher boys. Susannah, Belly’s mother’s

friend, has recently passed away and summer at the beach wouldn’t be right. Belly is

stuck at home this summer and doing things she doesn't want to do. All she wants is

to be at Cousins beach like every other summer. Belly thinks things can’t get any

worse until Conrad and Jeremiah’s dad tries to sell the summer house. Belly and the

boys will fight for what is rightfully theirs. How will this summer compare to the past

Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott is romance fiction. Cystic Fibrosis has taken everything

from Stella. When she meets Will, she decides that she’s done letting her sickness control her.

Stella has followed every rule about Cystic Fibrosis, waiting for a liver transplant that will change

her life. On the other hand, Will doesn’t care about his sickness, just waiting to be 18 to stop the

Paper Towns by John Green is contemporary fiction. Quentin Jacobsen has spent years loving

Margo Roth Spiegelman from distance. When she enters his life with just an open window, they

spend an all-nighter that turns into an amazing bonding experience. But the next day, Margo is a

complete mystery. Quentin finds clues that are specifically for him and finds himself further from

the girl he always wished to be close to. This book was really good. It was cute and

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green is romance fiction. Hazel is a cancer patient and joins a

cancer support group to help cope and make friends. There, she meets Gus. She and Gus start

a friendship that eventually leads to adventures and the best time of their lives. This book was

so good. It was absolutely heartbreaking. I cried so much. It was funny, cute, and overall

absolutely amazing. I would give it a 4/5.

It Only Happens In the Movies by Holly Bourne is contemporary fiction. Audrey is done with

love. Dealing with her parent's divorce, changes in her friendships, and her own breakup. She

just wants a break. And she gets it by getting a job at the local movie theatre. Until she meets

Harry. Even though she tries resisting, she ends up falling for his charming flirts. Soon, Audrey

finds out that good love doesn’t just happen in movies. This book was super cute. It was a little

Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han is contemporary fiction and the third book in the

series. After everything that went down, Lara Jean is having a great senior year. Life couldn’t be

better, she has so many senior activities to look forward to. Except Lara’s bubble pops suddenly

when she faces college, relationships, and family troubles. Senior year turns into a year Lara

Jean will never forget.
