This sequel to The Way of Kings continues to follow the paths of Kaladin, Shallan, and Adolin while also introducing new characters to the story. As Kaladin adapts to his new position in the society of Dalinar’s war camp, he finds it hard to adjust but is held by his word to act as a bodyguard for the royal family. Kaladin learns more about his abilities in this book as he bonds more with Syl along with how to fight against the Assassin in White threatening the life of the king.

It follows the story of Eddie, a 90-year-old man who spends his days volunteering at a charity shop. As he spends his day sorting through people's donations, he collects sentimental items that he thinks people will regret donating one day. One day a girl with pink hair walks in to donate stuff from her recently dead boyfriend.

The book starts with Jackie’s childhood, showing how much, he loved sports and how he faced unfair treatment because of his skin color. As he grew up, Jackie went to college, joined the military, and then made history by joining the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. He faced mean fans and unfair rules, but he stayed strong and didn’t give up.

Top Ten is an amazing book that looks at the complexities of friendship, mental health, love, and identity through the top ten moments in a relationship. The story is about the lives of Gabby and Ryan, two high school seniors who are very different from each other. Gabby is introverted and socially anxious, while Ryan is a charming, extroverted hockey star. Throughout high school, the two have to deal with their own personal challenges.

On her flight back to her family she is sat next to a man named Ridley. They spend the flight talking together and really enjoy each other’s company, but after the flight they part ways.
