All of the half bloods have a safe camp that protects them from the monsters and other things that wish to hurt them. But, one day the camp was put in danger because its protective barrier was starting to disappear. In order to save his camp Percy sets off on a journey and must fight many monsters in order to protect the camp.
The Lightning Thief is a captivating novel that follows the life of Percy Jackson, a kid that is considered a child of the gods. Percy Jackson lived a normal life in New York with his mom until one day at school when a monster, that only children of the gods could see, tried to attack him. That moment changed his life. We follow Percy’s journey as he meets other children like him and as he goes on an adventure to help keep peace among the Greek gods. The book explores many different parts of Greek beliefs and gods.
